The ambient air drawn in a compressor contains solid particles and water vapor. The compressor itself is also a source of air pollution.
In the process of compressing air, heat is generated, despite passing through the cooling process, it is so hot that when it comes into contact with the external environment, its condensate cause corrosion and accelerate the wear of pipelines, devices and tools.
Thanks to the use of additional properly selected equipment for cleaning and drying compressed air, it is possible to avoid breakdowns and downtime.
Compressed air cleaning consists of the next stages: cooling, drying, cleaning of oil and dust particles.
ADVANTAGES OF USING COMPRESSED AIR CLEANING DEVICES:
longer service life of compressed air machines and pneumatic tools;
uninterrupted technological process;
reduction of costs connected with technical inspections and repairs;
COMPRESSED AIR QUALITY CLASS ACCORDING TO ISO 8573-1
The current international standard ISO 8573-1 defines an upper limit for the content of solid particles, water and oil in compressed air.
